Finn Dicke (M. Sc.)
I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degree in chemistry in Cologne before joining the Kath-Schorr lab for my doctoral studies. Here, I work on chemically modified nucleobases which stabilize Z-RNA and Z-DNA, a usually unstable left-handed double helix structure of nucleic acids.
I am part of the DFG-funded "reloc" RTG 2550 focusing on protein relocalization. In this context, I am interested in the interaction between stabilized Z-nucleic acids and the immune-signaling proteins ZBP1 and ADAR1.
